Description
I wanted this to look different, but oh well. I'll probably do it again in a different way. This is a hand reaching upwards and there's a throny vine wrapped around it. the thin lines are supposed to be lines of blood. other objects in the picture include, dragonflies, feathers, and other vines with leaves or whatever. There's a sketch of the picture in the scraps gallery. It's probably easier to see with that. I hope y'all enjoy it anyway!

I guess I'd just missed this one before, but now that I've seen it it's my favorite of your stuff. Seems to be the kind of piece that everyone interprets in a different way; sort of a Rorshach blot that tells you more about the viewer's personality and opinions than anything.
That being said, to my eyes it seems to represent striving for some sort of escape. The thorns almost appear animate, and would likely stand for forces opposing that escape. Not so sure about the dragonflies, except to mention that they are free, and that seems significant. My two cents!
